Founding a start-up company which capitalises on a new innovative technology is the dream of many scientists and engineers. This one day conference will go through all the steps needed to commercialise your innovation, including protecting your idea, writing an effective business plan, applying for funding, pitching with credibility, marketing and pricing, making decisions and taking risks, dealing with setbacks, and positioning your company for growth.

This practitioner based event has been tailor made to cover all of the important information required to take your innovation forward. Presented by experts in each of the fields, the event includes panel sessions to give delegates the opportunity to question the speakers directly on specific issues, as well as presenting more informal networking opportunities. The day will finish with case studies from two highly successful materials entrepreneurs, who will share their own insights and experiences on what it takes to succeed.
