The UK Centre for Materials Education is organising a workshop for newly or recently appointed (within the past 3 years) materials lecturers.

Aims of the Workshop

The aims of the 2-day workshop are:

  • To offer academic staff an opportunity to reflect on problems which students encounter in studying and on ways in which lecturers can assist student learning
  • To consider relevant research on student learning
  • To consider aspects of course design for effective student learning

Applying for the Workshop

The costs of the workshop will be met by the Centre. Participants must meet their own travel costs.
