UKCME Student Essay Competition: 'How can materials science help save the planet from environmental disaster?'

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the competition for this academic year, and are pleased to announce that:

The Winning essay was from Kiran Ramsaroop, a 4th year undergraduate at the University of Liverpool

He receives the winning prize of £400, and is followed in second place by Eric Ho, who receives second prize of £200.
