This project grew out of an earlier TDG project (Identification and Facilitation of Teaching Materials in the School Curriculum, see Outreach). It aimed to deliver a specification for a generic materials sample pack prototype that would be produced as a trial run. Depending on subsequent funding it was planned that this project would be rolled out to produce materials sample packs which could be offered to schools free of charge.
